The subjects were selected as dressage, show jumping, eventing riders, and the samples were extracted using the convenience sampling method. For the survey, the researcher visited the Jangsu Equestrian Arena where the 36th Presidential Competition was held. Using the SPSS ver. 22.0 program, the 227 copies of data collected from paper and online were statisticalized through frequency analysis, Cronbach's alpha test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis.
The results of this study were as follows: First, coach’s authoritative behavior was negatively correlated with training and directing behavior, democratic behavior, social-support behavior, positive reward behavior and social interaction satisfaction, and was not correlated with task-orientation and task performance satisfaction. The rest all had a positive correlation between each factors. Second, coaching behavior style had partially significant effect on equestrian athletes’ achievement goal orientation. Third, coaching behavior style had partially significant effect on athletic satisfaction. Fourth, equestrian athletes’ achievement goal orientation had partially significant effect on athletic satisfaction.
