- 본 논문은 일본의 현대종교와 미국의 현대 종교상황을 연관시켜 그 영향관계를 규명한 글이다. 특히 일본의 옴사건, 정신세계, 서브컬쳐 등을 중심으로 미국의 뉴에이지 운동 및 애국자운동(PM)과 비교하면서 미국발 글로벌리즘과 개인주의가 현대일본종교의 변용에 어떤 역할을 했는지를 규명하고 있다.
