- Abstract
- The aim of this study is to make and apply the design guidelines of public open spaces in Junggu of Seoul. It could be seen that there are serious problems in the public open spaces of Junngu are having some problems in terms of openness, accessibility, safety, function, connectivity and amenity. This study tries to solve those problems by proposing some design guidelines. The study analysed the present Junggu's open spaces from the Gehl's point of views. Finally, it suggests 10 design guidelines and applies them to new cases, which are classified into 3 types.
