- Abstract
- The authors reflect on the transformation in society and culture in South Korea. It says that modernization, democratization and globalization have played an important role in the socio-economic changes in South Korea. It mentions that the transformation in the country bought negative and positive impact including the emergence of new ideas, values, and beliefs. The authors argue that the globalization in South Korea has deteriorated the traditional forms of national culture and identity.
