- Abstract
- This paper investigates the two-dimensional polluted air dispersion in metropolitan street canyons using visualization. Recently, many papers have been written likely this. But, those treated old cities. The building of old cities has lower layers than the big city. This paper paid attention to the point studied different modeling that has large ratio between perpendicular and horizontal likely skyscrapers in Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, N.Y.C., etc. Experiments had been carried out in the wind tunnel. The field was investigated with an ultra high speed CCD camera and digital imaging processing. The lightening source was used the halogen lamp. The photo image was captured by a ImCam commercial program at IMI Technology Co.
