보훈의 의미변화에 따른 보훈기념행사의 시각화 분석

Abstract

Since the Millennium age, the government has actively promoted the policy, which develops advanced culture of honoring national meritorious persons who devoted for the nation and the people to enhance Korea's standing in the world and encourage the people's patriotism and pride. In this circumstance, commemorative events of the government to honor national meritorious persons have expanded to be participated by all Koreans, and the government continues to make every efforts to broaden public awareness of national meritorious persons and their contribution as well as change commemorative events as national reconciliation opportunities. Accordingly, image campaign, local theme festival, and cultural event in regard of honoring national meritorious persons have appeared as a new design area and made new issues in many parts of the society. However, message and visual expression of current commemorative events are still in old days, not reflecting changed meaning of honoring national meritorious persons which meets the demands of the times. Therefore, in this research, characteristics of paradigm change in honoring national meritorious persons will be investigated for effective commemorative events, and visualization process of message will be analyzed to understand how the message was developed in its visualization. In addition, it aims to be used as an useful material for effective commemorative events meeting the requirements of the times.
