dc.description.abstractA performance estimation is made on the passive picocell radio-over-fiber system using the electroabsorption modulator as an optical transceiver. Using the concept of the low-detuned electroabsorption transceiver (EAT), we estimate the maximum rf power available from the EAT and the power margin of the passive picocell system.-
