- (1R,2R,3S,4S)-3-methylbicyclo[2,2,1]heptane-2-carboxaldehyde mesodiol과 반응시켜 cis 아세탈 중간체를 얻은 후 MCPBA로 산화시켜 hydroxy benzyl ether 를 합성하였다.
