Abstract
본 논문에서는 레일레이 채널에서 SISO(Single-input Single-Output) 및 MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) 기반의 듀얼 홉 시스템들에 대한 시스템 용량의 저하 확률을 비교 및 분석한다. 여기서, 비교할 세가지 시스템은 각각 SISO 시스템, OSTBC(Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code) 기반의 MIMO 시스템, 송수신안테나 선택 기반의 MIMO 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 이 세가지 듀얼 홉 시스템들에 대하여 AF(Amplify-and-Forward)와 DF(Decode-and-Forward)방식의 릴레이를 고려하여 각각에 대한 시스템 용량의 저하 확률을 도출하여 비교 및 분석한다. 본 논문의 수치적 결과들을 토대로 듀얼 홉 시스템에서 용량 저하 확률의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 여러 조건들을 제시함과 동시에 듀얼 홉 시스템에서 다중안테나의 이용으로부터 얻어지는 이득을 보여준다.
In this paper, we study an outage probability of dual-hop relaying systems with SISO(Single-input Single-Output) or MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) in Rayleigh fading channels. To analyze SISO- or MIMO-based dual-hop systems, we consider three different dual-hop systems: (a) a SISO system, (b) a MIMO system where OSTBC(Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code) is used to achieve spatial diversity, and (c) a MIMO system where the best transmit/receive antenna pair is selected for transmission in each hop. Considering AF(Amplify-and-Forward) and DF(Decode-and-Forward) relaying protocols for the three systems, the outage probabilities of capacity are derived, respectively. We also investigate how the relay’s location and the number of antennas at the source, relay or destination affect the outage probability performance.
