- Abstract
- In this paper11This research was supported by Basic Science Research Program through the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Education (NRF-2018R1D1A1B07047122)., we investigate capacity allocation between non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) user equipment 1 (UE1) and UE2, which are receiving data from a common base station (BS) through coordinated direct and alternatingly relayed transmission (CDaRT), respectively. We propose a power allocation rule for BS and relays, respectively. And we derive capacity tradeoff between UE1 and UE2 as an explicit function of the power allocation factors in the high SNR regime. The result shows that CDaRT achieves further balance and flexibility in capacity allocation compared with an existing coordinated direct and relayed transmission (CDRT). Numerical investigation is used to verify the analysis in this paper. © 2019 Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE).
