dc.description.abstract | An offset error of an interstage amplifier significantly degrades the linearity and the signal integrity of pipelined ADCs. This paper proposes an effective background self-calibration technique to efficiently correct the offset of interstage amplifiers, by monitoring the output of the residue signal in next stage and by removing the offset errors. The simulation results showed the proposed technique enhanced the signal-to-noise ratio by 3-dB and the total-harmonic-distortion by 2-dB. | - |
