- Abstract
- This paper proposes and optimizes a novel rotarylinear
motor combining the surface-mounted permanent-magnet
(SMPM) motor and voice coil motor structure (RL-SVCM) to
achieve rotary and linear motion with low rotary torque ripple
and smooth linear force. The step skewed method was used to
perfect the rotary motion; based on the equivalent magnetic
circuit analysis, the Kriging method and genetic algorithm were
used to perfect the linear motion. The topology, operating
principle, and the optimization parameters are described. All
analysis results are given under 3D finite element method (FEM)
for revealing the low rotary ripple and smooth linear force.
