- Abstract
- The paradigm of public libraries in Korea has been changed to "the Living room of the City", for an inclusive space for all people in local communities. This study aims to identify the recent trends of public libraries in Korea, as analysing the policy report of public libraries and space layout of 40 cases. The findings suggests the lobby of public libraries has became more complex and integrated spaces with a variety of programs, compared to the traditional transition space without library program.
