The Linking Relationship between the Syntactic Structure and Aspectual Meaning of the Japanese“V-hajimeru” Sentence and Korean“V-gi-sijakhada”, “V-gi-reul-sijakhada”Sentence

Abstract

In this paper we presented the linking relationship between the syntactic structure and aspectual meaning of the begin expression of the Japanese “V-hajimeru” sentence and the Korean “V-gi-sijakhada” sentence and “V-gi-reul-sijakhada” sentence. To put it concretely, we checked the advance research results on the syntactic structure of the deep structure and surface structure through new evidences. And we presented the derivation structure which is the control structure and raising structure. On the aspectual meaning we presented “telic” or “atelic” as the universal aspectual meaning. Based on the above analysis we suggested the linking relationship[table 1]. between the syntactic structure and aspectual meaning of the Japanese “V-hajimeru” sentence and the Korean “V-gi-sijakhada” sentence and “V-gi-reul-sijakhada” sentences.
