이미지 변용을 통한 「주신구라(忠臣蔵)」 표현 양상 - 일곱 번째 에피소드를 중심으로 -

Abstract

모두가 알고 있는 화제를 대상을 형태와 내용의 유사성을 이용한 원전의 재구성도 우키요에를 구성하는 하나의 양식으로 등장하였다. 이 변형 과정에서 발생하는 차이와 공통점을 풀어내는 일종의 놀이로 향유되었다. 원전에서 연동된 이미지는 이야기 전달과 이해에 효과적으로 작용하며 이와 같은 그림 읽기 행위를 통해 원전에 대한 해석과 이해를 시도한 것이다. 하나의 화제는 문예 속에서 다양한 방식으로의 연결을 시도하면서 공통의 읽을거리로 재생되고 향수되어 왔다.

The reorganization of the original literary works through the similarity of the form and the contents of the topic which everyone knows became one of the forms constituting ukiyoe. It was a sort of play that solved the differences and commonalities that occurred in this transformation process. The images linked to the original literary work act effectively in storytelling and understanding, and attempt to interpret and understand the original literary work through such an image-reading act. This paper demonstrates that, in literature, a topic has been reproduced and perfected as a common reading while attempting to link in various ways.
