Abstract
The purpose of research was to investigate the strategies to maintain the position of Taekwondo as an Olympic regular event permanently. Taekwondo is our unique martial art which involves spirits of the Korean people Also in modern era, Taekwondo is everyday sports for people all over the world that helps them training their body and soul. Moreover, Taekwondo works as peaceful messenger keeping Olympic spirit and contributes to the world peace as one of the Olympic regular events. However, there are few problems in the path of Taekwondo to keep its status as an Olympic regular event even though its dramatic advancement in short history. But we can solve those issues by utilizing short-term and long-term strategies. The changes and innovation of organization led by World Taekowdo Federation (WTF) are extremely important in solidifying Taekwondo's status as Olympic regular event and also securing popularity, keeping fairness of referee judgment, clarifying Taekwondo administration are necessary. First, We need to devise measure to keep intimate relationship with International Olympic Committee (IOC) based on sensitivity diplomacy. Second, We need to reinforce public interest business to expand global Taekwondo business, its dissemination and support. Third, We need to enhance diversity of administrative organization's human resource infrastructure and expertise. Fourth, We need to execute supplementing movements and research of Taekwondo rules and electronic protective gear system.
