Abstract
The purpose of the research was to examine the relationship between psychological capital and adaptive performance in hotel Industry. In particular, change readiness is tested by mediating effects. Total 304 samples were collected from hotel employees in China and analyzed using AMOS version 17.00 to test the hypotheses. As a result, the research found significant relationships between psychological capital and adaptive performance. Also, a partial mediating role of change readiness in the relationship between psychological capital and adaptative performance was identified. Finally, implications for the hotel industry was suggested. Based on the results of the study, it can be drawn the following conclusions: First, Psychological capital plays an important role in hotel staff adaptive performance. Second, change readiness should be positive for the formation of adaptive performance and should precede change behavior. Third, we found new variables during the process of psychological capital on adaptation performance.
