Abstract
This study was to inquire into characteristics of school violence experiences of male students of high school athletic team. The analysis on experienced school violence within the athletic teams shows six identified categories including individual battering, group punishment, verbal violence, errand, forced cheating and master-servant group establishment between senior and junior students. As a result, three stages are identified including the stage of realization and accommodation, the stage of repetition and resignation, and the stage of transfer and on-looking. The verified sequences of experience explain about changes in emotions and attitudes of male students of athletic team towards school violence within the team as their position changes with their grade changing from the 10th to the 11thand from the 11th to the 12th. In this sense, it suggests continued interest and administrative support for the school teachers and the athletic team instructors, and the professional counselling system needs to be improved and extended to change the characteristics of the athletic team students.
