- Abstract
- 본 연구는 유아기의 자아개념이 학령기 아동의 그릿과 학업수행능력에 미치는 영향에 관한 종단적 발달경로와 인과관계를 설명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 데이터에서 2013년(6차)과 2018년(11차) 자료를 활용하였으며, 연구대상은 한국아동패널 연구에 참여한 아동 695명이다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0, AMOS 26.0을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 유아기 자아개념은 학령기 아동의 그릿에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학령기 아동의 그릿은 학업수행능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 유아기 자아개념은 아동의 그릿을 완전 매개로 하여 학령기 아동의 학업수행능력에 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 아동의 학업성취도와 그릿 증진에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인으로서 유아기 자아개념의 중요성을 입증하였다. 본 연구 결과는 유아의 건강한 자아개념 형성을 위한 교사와 부모교육의 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
