Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify relations between social support, health promotion behavior, life satisfaction and exercise adherence in university students. To achieve the purpose, the study conducted a survey on those students who studied in university with questionnaires consisting of 56 items. As a result, a total of 282 questionnaires were selected using a convenience sampling method for the final analysis. For data analysis, a frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling analysis and bootstrapping were carried out using SPSS Statistics 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs. The conclusions are made as follows. First, social support had influence on health promotion behavior. Second, social support had not influence on life satisfaction but it had indirect effect on life satisfaction through health promotion behavior. Third, social support had influence on exercise adherence. Forth, health promotion behavior had influence on life satisfaction. Fifth, health promotion behavior had influence on exercise adherence. Sixth, life satisfaction had influence on exercise adherence.
