Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find a way to sustain sports life in a pandemic situation caused by disease by examining the effect of the psychological experiences of indoor exercise participants in the era of COVID-19 on their exercise immersion and participation behavior. In order to analyze this effect, 480 people who participate in daily sports at indoor sports facilities in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Busan were selected as the study subjects. Among them, for empirical analysis, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using 455 copies of SPSS 25.0 statistical program for each data. Based on these procedures and the designed theory, the following conclusions were drawn. First, it was found that the psychological experiences of indoor exercise participants in the Corona 19 era had a partially significant effect on exercise immersion. Second, it was found that the psychological experience of indoor exercise participants in the Corona 19 era had a partially significant effect on the exercise participation behavior. Third, exercise commitment of indoor exercise participants was found to have a significant effect on participation behavior. Summarizing the above results, it is judged that even in a pandemic situation such as Corona 19, if the stress part of the psychological experience can be overcome, it will be possible to devote oneself to exercise and leisure activities and to participate continuously.
