- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between self-efficacy and organizational commitment of role stress caused by the sales of rooms through online travel agencies. In order to test the conceptual model, this study conducted a survey with hotel employees of the three-star, four-star, five-star hotel front desk, room sales, and room reservation departments. A total of 336 valid surveys were analyzed through structural equation modeling. The results are as follows. (1) role stress (role conflict, role ambiguity) negatively affects self efficacy; (2) self efficacy positively affects organizational commitment; (3) role stress (role overload) negatively affects organizational commitment; Ultimately, this study Identifies role stress caused by room sales through online travel agencies and suggests ways to reduce role stress, to increase self efficacy and organizational commitment to hotel employees.
