- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to propose a development plan to develop effective martial arts policies for the conditions of Korea and China and to provide basic data for the promotion of traditional martial arts. Therefore, I compared and analyzed the policies related to martial arts in Korea and China, and examined how the public in both countries perceive traditional martial arts. Based on the analyzed results, it is as follows. Based on the recognition of traditional martial arts policies and laws, the following conclusions were drawn. First, in the perception and attitude of the traditional martial arts felt by the people of Korea and China, the masses of the two countries should be aware of the macro recognition of traditional martial arts, the necessity of learning the culture, the necessity of succession and reversal of traditional martial arts, I think that there is a need for the cultural value and tradition of the traditional martial arts of the nation in regard to the development of legitimacy and the intention of participating in training. However, they were not aware of the traditional martial arts. Second, the perception of the constraints of traditional martial arts development in the two countries was recognized in the order of lack of publicity, indifference of the people, restriction of supply due to complicated classification, lack of training opportunities and non practicality. Third, for the activation of traditional martial arts, it is necessary to reinforce publicity about the culture and to attract related game events, and to provide a combination of life sports and school education. Korea and China should make more effort for modernization and popularization with the value and meaning of traditional martial arts.
