- Abstract
- 자전거 교통사고의 문제점으로는 자전거 운전자의 대부분이 안전장비를 제대로 갖추지 않고 빠른속도로 주행한다는 것이다. 이러한 원인으로 인해자전거 운전자의 부상 정도가 심각한 수준으로 이어질 수 있다. 자전거 교통사고에 대한 연구는 지속적으로 진행되고 있으나, 자전거 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 근린 환경요인에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 자전거 사고 중 자동차 대 자전거사고와 사고 심각도에 영향을 미치는 근린 환경요인에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도로교통공단에서 제공하는 Traffic Accident Analysis System(TAAS)데이터를 활용하여 자전거 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 근린환경요인을 파악하고 분석결과를 통해 안전한 자전거 주행환경 조성을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다.
