공유경제 관점에서 카셰어링이 교통수단 이용에 미치는영향 분석 : 인천시 2017년 카셰어링 설문조사를 중심으로

Abstract

최근 들어 카셰어링 관련 연구가 다양하게 진행되었음에도, 공유경제 관점에서 현재 카셰어링 서비스를 심도 있게 고찰하고 향후 발전 방향을 제시한연구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 카셰어링 이용자의 개인적·환경적 특성을 제어한 상태에서 카셰어링 이용 빈도가 교통수단(자가용, 대중교통, 택시) 이용 변화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지실증 분석하고 그 효과를 평가한다. 나아가 이를바탕으로 향후 카셰어링 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서는 인천시 카셰어링 회원을 대상으로2017년 3월 21일부터 28일까지 8일간 실시한 설문조사 결과를 활용한다. 따라서 본 연구의 공간적범위는 인천시 전역, 시간적 배경은 2017년 3월로볼 수 있다. 하지만 설문조사의 경우 지금까지 카셰어링 이용으로 누적한 이미지에 근거하여 답변하므로 인천 카셰어링 업체 회원의 카셰어링 이용 기간과 카셰어링 이용 지역을 본 연구의 시·공간적배경으로도 생각할 수 있다. 한편 설문조사에서는 카셰어링 이용자의 개인적· 물리적 환경, 카셰어링 이용 빈도, 카셰어링 이용후 다른 교통수단 이용 변화 등의 정보를 종합적으로 질문하여 관련 정보를 구득했다.

This study analyzed the effects of carsharing on current and future use of transportation mode by using the results of questionnaire survey for carsharing users. We constructed regression models that reflect the car ownership and changes of user’s behavior after carsharing in terms of private transportation, public transportation, taxi, and future vehicle ownership plan using ordered logit and binary logit models. The analysis results indicate that carsharing not only reduces the private car usage, but also the use of public transportation or taxis. Especially, the results show that carsharing reduces the use of public transportation significantly among the three types of transportation mode. This result indicates the conflicting relationship between carsharing and public transportation policy. On the other hand, this study shows that carsharing leads to active responses of carsharing users such as sale of vehicles, abandonment of vehicle purchasing plans, etc. This finding indicates that carsharing is more likely to play a positive role in reducing car use and car ownership in the future.
