- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to analyze the construction of DDP in views of destruction, conservation, and restoration. As a result of studying DDP's 8 different design schemes, it surprisingly did not present a complete destruction, conservation, or restoration. The majority of design schemes presented a mix of destruction, conservation, or restoration. Yet, there were cases that specifically defined a strong characteristic among destruction, conservation, or restoration: plans by Zaha Hadid, Seung H-sang, and MVRDV. Depending on point of view, these cases demonstrated similarities or differences.
