Abstract
The purpose of the study is to conduct a meta-analytic summary of the effect of dance education program on elementary school students. The study reviewed and analyzed twenty two (22) researches about dance education program toward elementary school students. Overall, its effect size resulted in .610, which indicated that the effect of dance education program to elementary school students shows more than medium, in accordance with the standard of Cohen. Among various programs, Hana-ro education model is the most effective method, and the restructure of Chace’s dance cure program by the researcher shows the least effect. Dance education program highly affects creativity of elementary school students. Also, the fourteen (14) weeks education period is the most effective. As a comprehensive analysis over effect of dance education program to elementary school students, this result shows that not only dance education but also dance teaching method based on scientific method will be improved.
