- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to figure out the effect of teachers’ leadership on student empowerment and PE class satisfaction. 719 students in D, U metropolitan cities and Y city participated in the research. Questionnaire survey with 65 questions was performed including 7 for general characters, 24 for leadership style(transformational and transactional leadership), 17 for empowerment(self-determination and personal ability) and 17 for PE class satisfaction All in all, there were significant differences in leadership, PE class satisfaction, and empowerment according to general characters of teachers. There were diverse awareness of satisfaction to leadership of teachers according to situation of students and personal characters. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to develop personal empowerment and PE class satisfaction using suitable leadership for general characters. And PE teachers should develop students’ self determination by charismatic leadership and personal consideration which might be the most suitable and effective method.
