- Abstract
- 본 연구는 도보관광을 중심으로 (1) 도보관광객이 중요하게 지각하는 관광지 속성, 편익, 가치에 대한 항목들을 파악하고, (2) 도보관광지의 특징적인 속성, 관광객 편익, 그리고 관광객이 지각한 가치 간의 인과 관계를 수단-목적 사슬 이론을 이용하여 분석하고자 하는 두 가지 목적을 지니고 있다. 127명의 도보관광객을 대상으로 하드래더링 기법을 이용한 인터뷰가 실시되었으며, 그 결과 다음과 같은 세 개의 중요한 연결 사슬이 나타났다. (1) “자연경관(A)” - “일상탈피/스트레스 해소(B)” - “행복감(V)”, (2) “산책로(A)” - “사색의 기회(B)” - “편안함(V)” 그리고 (3) “제주올레 에서 만나는 사람들(A)” - “지역주민 또는 다른 올레꾼들과의 인적 교류(B)” - “즐거움(V)”의 연결 사슬이다. 이러한 결과는 도보관광객이 지각한 가치에 따라 관광지 속성의 중요성은 다르게 나타나며, 이러한 차이를 반영하는 차별적인 관광지 속성 강화 전략이 필요함을 시사한다.
