- Abstract
- In this paper, the impedance of IM is analyzed according to the electrical connection instead of the mechanical connection. The electrical connection is equal the mechanical connection according to voltage vector position. The inter-turn fault diagnosis algorithm is proposed according to the voltage vector position. Co-analysis of a finite element analysis (FEA) and control circuit simulation is performed to verify the proposed inter-turn fault diagnosis algorithm. Furthermore, IM and terminal box are manufactured, and the experiment is performed to verify the inter-turn fault diagnosis algorithm.
