Abstract
Recently, the penetration rate of electric vehicles (EVs) is increasing due to the development of environmental regulations and power control technology. As the number of EVs increases, technology to prevent EV failures is required, but since there are differences from existing vehicles, failure analysis suitable for EVs must be applied. In this paper, structural analysis is carried out and residuals are obtained using PMSM used as the driving motor of EV, reducer, wheel, and longitudinal model of vehicle. Through this, it is expected that it can contribute to fault detection and fault tolerance control design in the future in terms of failure analysis, and optimize the type and number of sensors used in vehicles in terms of vehicle design.
