Abstract
목적: 본 연구는 ‘나다움’을 완성해가는 학습자의 경험 과정을 탐색하고, 그 과정에서 학습자가 감각하는 심미적 경험은 개인의 질적성장을 돕는 교육적 경험임을 밝히는 데 있다. 방법: 첫째, 존 듀이의 경험철학인 ‘하나의 경험’과 교육적 경험에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 ‘나다움’을 찾아가는 과정으로서의 의복행동을 탐색한다. 둘째, 의복행동을 ‘하나의 경험’에 근거하여 기술, 분석, 해석함으로써 ‘나다움’이 드러나는 진정한 의복행동을위한 미적 경험의 이해를 돕는다. 셋째, 의복행동이라는 심미적 체험이 듀이가 말하는 ‘하나의 경험’임을 밝히면서, ‘하나의 경험’으로 해석되는 의복행동을 통해 나다움을 완성해가는 학습자의 경험 과정이 교육적 경험으로 거듭남을 탐색한다. 결과: 의복행동으로서의 교육적 경험은 한 인간의 정체성을 파악하게 만드는 과정을 촉진함은 물론 ‘나다움’을 발견하는 과정에 몰입하게 함으로써 인간의 총체적이고 지속적인 성장과 발전을 촉진하는 ‘하나의 경험’이다. 결론: Dewey의 ‘하나의 경험’에 비추어 해석된 의복행동이 ‘나다움’을 발견하기 위한 교육적 경험임을 밝힘으로써 의복 행동을 신체적 외모에만 집착하여 외적인 미(美)를 추구하는 것으로 해석하는 종래의 관점과 접근에 대한 대안적 논리를 제공한다. 행복한변화 경험을 추구하는 자기발견으로서의 의복행동을 위한 교육적 접근의 근거를 마련하고자 하는데 의의가 있다.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore the experience process of learners who complete ‘myself’ and to reveal that the aesthetic experience sensed by learners in the process is an educational experience that helps the individual’s qualitative growth. Methods: First, we explore clothing behavior as a process of finding ‘myself’ through theoretical consideration of John Dewey’s experiential philosophy of ‘an experience’ and educational experience. Second, by describing, analyzing, and interpreting clothing behavior based on ‘one experience,’ it helps understand the aesthetic experience for true clothing behavior that reveals ‘myself.’ Third, by revealing that the aesthetic experience of clothing behavior is what Dewey calls ‘an experience,’ we explore how the learner’s experiential process of completing his or her self through clothing behavior, which is interpreted as ‘an experience,’ is reborn as an educational experience. Results: Educational experience as a clothing behavior is ‘an experience’ that promotes the overall and continuous growth and development of humans by not only promoting the process of understanding one’s identity but also immersing oneself in the process of discovering ‘myself.’ Conclusions: By revealing that clothing behavior interpreted in light of Dewey's ‘an experience’ is an educational experience for discovering ‘myeself’, it differs from the conventional view that interprets clothing behavior as pursuing external beauty by focusing only on physical appearance. Provides an alternative logic for approach. It is meaningful in attempting to establish a basis for an educational approach to clothing behavior as self-discovery in pursuit of a happy experience of change.
