- Abstract
- In this paper, a design method is proposed to reduce a torque ripple and magnet usage in Consequent-Pole Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(CP-SPMSM). Based on the basic model of CP-SPMSM, it is analyzed that the model combining CP-Npole and CP-Spole can reduce torque ripple. Furthermore, the asymmetric pole arc ratio and position angle are designed considering torque and torque ripple. Finally, the axial asymmetric structure is proposed to reduce the torque ripple.
