의료커뮤니케이션 교육의 개념적 모형 개발: 푸코의 ‘자기배려’를 중심으로

Abstract

목적 본 연구의 목적은 푸코의 자기배려 개념을 기반으로 한 의료커뮤니케이션 교육모형을 개념적 수준에서 제시하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 통합적 문헌고찰을 하여 SI-ISD(체제해석적 ISD모형)의 과정에 따라 푸코의 자기배려 개념이 의료커뮤니케이션교육에 제공하는 시사점을 탐색한 뒤 교육모형이 갖는 기본가정을 설정하여 모형의 설계원리와 핵심구인을 도출하여 개념적 교육모형을 구성하였다. 결과 산업화된 의료환경 속 탈맥락화된 커뮤니케이션 역량 중심의 근대교육의 특성을 지니는 기존 의료커뮤니케이션 교육의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 탈근대적 시사점을 줄 수 있는 푸코의 자기배려 개념에서 시사점을 도출하였다. 의료커뮤니케이션 과정을 둘러싼 현대의학 담론 속에서 의료인이 자기배려를 수행할 수 있도록 교육의 장을 넘어 삶의 장, 배움의 장이 서로 순환할 수 있는 개념적모형을 설계하였다. 결론 자기배려의 개념이 기반이 된 의료커뮤니케이션 교육은 의료인이 자목적화한 배려를 수행하는 데 도움이 될 수 있으며, 의료인의 자기배려는 환자의 자기배려를 촉진하여 환자가 자기 질병을 주체적으로 다루어갈 수 있도록 하는 가능성을 열어줄 수 있으며새로운 담론을 형성하는 데 도움이 될 수 있음을 제언하였다.
