대화중심 감상법과 시각화 표현 활동 중심의 미술교육 프로그램이 중학생의 긍정적인 인간관계 형성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 대화중심 감상법과 인간관계 시각화 중심의 미술교육 프로그램이 중학생들의 긍정적인 인간관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 강남구 소재 A여자중학교 1학년 51명을 대상으로 6차시에 걸쳐 수업을 진행하고, 그 효과성을 인간관계에 대한 인식과 자아정체감을 중심으로 사전 및 사후 설문조사를 시하여 대응표본 t-검정을 통해 분석하였다. 또한 인간관계 시각화 표현 활동의 수업 결과물의 설명문을 해석하여 그 효과성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 개발된 프로그램은 중학생들의 긍정적인 인간관계 형성 및 자아정체감에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 구체적으로 대화중심 감상법을 활용한 수업은 학생들의 자기표현 능력과 소통 능력을 향상시켰고, 인간관계를 시각화로 표현한 활동은 인간관계에 대한 다양한 수용 태도를 가지는데 도움을 주었다. 포스트 코로나 시대의 청소년들은 기존과는 다른 인간관계를 형성하며 그 과정에서 어러가지 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구가 2022 개정 교육과정에서 강조하는 삶의 주체로서의 자기이해 역량을 미술교육을 통해 키워 중학생들의 긍정적인 인간관계 형성에 도움을 줄 수 있기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how an art education program focused on dialogue-based appreciation and human relationship visualization affects middle school students' positive relationships. The program was conducted with 51 first-year students at A Girls' Middle School in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, over six sessions. Pre- and post-surveys on human relationships and self-identity were analyzed using paired t-tests. The texts from students' visualized relationship activities were also reviewed. Results show the program significantly improved positive relationships and self-identity. Dialogue-based appreciation enhanced communication and self-expression, while visualization helped students adopt more open attitudes toward relationships. As post-pandemic adolescents face new relationship challenges, this study suggests art education can foster self-understanding, supporting positive relationship formation as emphasized in the 2022 curriculum.
