- Abstract
- In this study, sensibility design has been applied as a conceptual plan for child-oriented space composition plan in the midst of a trend that calls for the content and object of child facilities a space for welfare based on the analysis of various sensibility characteristics of children. Accordingly, the developmental and psychological characteristics of children, the sensibility concept from philosophical, psychological and scientifical aspect and the design approach direction of sensibility were examined based on which the child-oriented design element and sensibility design element were extracted. Based on the child-oriented design element and sensibility design element extracted, child-oriented sensibility design element was developed, and layout plan, floor plan,elevation plan and exhibition plan were applied in the plan for Songpa child facilities. Through the process of space planning for Songpa child facilities by applying such child-oriented sensibility design element, the need and importance were confirmed for applying sensibility design based on the sensibility characteristics of children in the space design for children.
