- Abstract
- 한강과 그 수변공간은 서울이 가지고 있는 마지막으로 개발가능한 대규모 환경생태 공간이다. 최근 서울시에는 2007년부터 2030년까지 회복과 창조라는 원칙에 따라 한강 르네상스 프로젝트가 진행되고 있다. 이 계획에 따르면 워터프런트 타운 조성과 세계 초일류 항구도시의 비젼을 제시하고 있지만 몇 가지 보완할 점을 안고 있다. 첫째, 수변생태계의 복원을 위한 마스터플렌의 미비. 둘째, 수변생태환경과 수변 편의 공간과의 유기적 관계 정립 미비. 셋째, 수변 생태 공간 보존을 위한 지속 가능한 관리 시스템 미비. 넷째, 자원의 효율적 이용과 크린에너지 이용 및 청정구역 조성 방안 미비. 다섯째, 새로운 개념의 친수공간 부족과 장식 및 조경 위주의 개발. 이상의 문제점을 보완하여 자칫 도시 경쟁력이나 경제적 부가가치 위주의 전시성, 개발 사업이 되지 않도록 신중을 기해야한다.
