- Abstract
- Development of listening and speaking area items in a diagnostic test for basic academic ability. Park., Seongseog, Lee, Gyeongnam and Kim, Seunghyun. <Abstract> Listening and speaking skills should be evaluated as part of basic skills. The evaluation framework was established based on nine components. Preliminary items were developed at four levels: third to fourth grade in elementary school (level 1), fifth to sixth grade in elementary school (level 2), first to third grade in middle school (level 3), and first grade in high school (level 4). Preliminary tests were conducted on a total of 212 students. As a result of the two-parameter item response model analysis, it was confirmed that 27.3% of the items at level 1, 31.3% at level 2, 34.8% at level 3, and 37.5% at level 4 did not meet the target difficulty and discrimination criteria. Thus, a modification was necessary. The future direction of the item modification for the main test was discussed.
