- Abstract
- 본 연구는 특수교사의 특수교육보조원에 대한 인식에 대해 질적 연구를 통해 심층적으로 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 특수교육보조원의 경험이 있는 특수교사 10명이 반구조적 및 개방식 인터뷰에 참여하였다. 인터뷰는 평균 60분 정도가 소요되었으며, 인터뷰 내용은 분석과정을 통해 3개의 대범주와 14개의 하위범주로 도출되었다. 연구결과, 특수교육보조원의 역할은 장애학생의 개인적 욕구지원, 통합학급지원, 교수-학습지원, 잡무로 구분되었으며, 갈등요인으로는 역할경계의 모호성, 역할인식의 부재, 낮은 자질로 도출되었다. 마지막으로 갈등해소 방안으로 교사-보조원간의 원활한 의사소통, 특수교육보조원 제도의 개선, 현장중심 연수 확대, 명확한 업무분장, 공사구분, 신뢰구축, 자문기관의 활성화로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 알 수 있듯이, 특수교육보조원의 필요성에 대해서 인식하면서, 그에 대한 갈등상황에 대한 지원이 부족한 현실이다. 따라서 교사-보조원간의 협력적 교육환경제고를 위한 다양한 방법이 모색되어져야 할 것이다.
