- Abstract
- 항로의 경쟁력은 물동량과 네트워크의 효율성에서 비롯된다. 특히 항로 연결성과 불균형성은 화주의 편이성은 물론 선사의 수익성과 운영 효율성에 큰 영향을 미치므로 이에 대한 실증적 논의가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 일본의 국제전략항만 및 국제거점항만과 연결되는 한일 컨테이너항로를 대상으로 이들의 상대적 불균형성과 연결중심성을 실증분석하였다. 경쟁/비교 대상 항만간 상대적인 불균형성 분석을 위한 모형을 제시하고 실증분석함으로써 동일 경쟁단위의 항만그룹에서 이루어지는 일반적인 기항지 선택이나 항로 네트워크 확대 시 참고가 될 수 있는 기반 정보를 제공하였다. 또한, 분석대상 항만을 불균형성/연결중심성의 2가지 기준을 바탕으로 6개의 그룹으로 분류함으로써, 상대적인 항로네트워크 평가를 위한 동일 그룹 내 경쟁집단을 파악하고 제시하였다.
