- Abstract
- 본 연구는 도․농간 고령보행자 교통사고에 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 도·농간 교통사고 격차원인에 관한 이론적 논의를 수행하고 교통경찰업무관리시스템(TCS) 자료를 활용하여 충청남도 15개 시군의 고령보행자 교통사고에 미치는 요인을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 농촌에서 고령보행자의 연령증가에 따른 사망확률이 도시에 비해 0.9% 높았다. 또한, 도시에서는 농촌에서 비해 운전자의 운전 중 스마트기기나 전화기 사용, 심신건강 등의 인적요인이 시설요인 보다 고령보행자 교통사망사고에 더 중요하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 야간의 교통사고 사망확률은 도시가 농촌보다 0.7배 낮고 도시는 신호기의 유무, 농촌은 도로선형이 고령보행자 사망사고에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 시설요인으로 파악되었다. 이러한 분석결과는 도농간 고령보행자의 교통사망사고 특성을 고려한 교통운영체계 선진화방안 마련을 위한 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
