- Abstract
- 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감이 자아존중감을 통해 미래에 대한 긍정적 생각에 미치는 영향과 부모지지의 조절된 매개효과 검증을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 구축한 학업중단 청소년 패널 조사로부터 선별한 419명을 대상으로 PROCESS macro의 모델 4와 모델 7을 활용하여 매개효과와 조절된 매개효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학교 밖 청소년의 사회적 낙인감은 미래에 대한 생각에 부적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 다음으로 학교 밖 청소년의 자아존중감은 사회적 낙인감이 미래에 대한 생각에 미치는 영향을 부분적으로 매개했다. 즉, 사회적 낙인감의 수준이 높아지면 자아존중감의 수준이 낮아졌고, 이어서 미래에 대한 생각의 수준의 낮아졌다. 마지막으로 학교 밖 청소년의 부모지지는 사회적 낙인감이 자아존중감을 통해 미래에 대한 생각에 이르는 매개효과를 조절했다. 구체적으로 부모지지의 수준이 높을수록 자아존중감을 통한 부적 매개효과의 크기는 감소했다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년이 미래에 대해 긍정적인 생각을 할 수 있도록 지원하는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.
