국내 항공사 객실승무원의 마음챙김이 직무스트레스 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향

Abstract

Workers engaged in service industry commonly experience stress occurred in the process of work through interpersonal service with customers. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of mindfulness of airline crew on their job stress and job satisfaction. To accomplish the purpose of the study, data was collected from 295 cabin crew working on international flight of domestic airlines that depart and arrive at Incheon International Airport. The findings of the study showed that non-judgemental acceptance and concentration among the sub-factors of mindfulness negatively affected job stress while concentration had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Job stress had a negative effect on job satisfaction. Airline companies need to attach importance to the role of mindfulness which has important effect on stress and job satisfaction. The resulst may contribute to plan more stable and effective human resource management system in the airline industry.
