LCD 제조 장비 업체를 통해본 기술능력 축적과정에 대한 연구

Abstract

In a short period of time since South Korea has plunged into display Industry, its companies that started to grow with LCD used in laptops since early 90’s by replacing CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) have emerged as a world market leader by cornering approximately 40% of TFT-LCD sector with superior industrial technology and bold investment into R&D. This study mainly focuses on the analysis about knowledge change from the knowledge management theory perspective and draws a conclusion thatit is significant for LCD manufacturing companies to acquire industrial technology and competency. Studies show that it is important to have not only the ability to take over competitors, but also for LCD equipment manufacturing companies to spread and evolve tacit knowledge within the company and promoting it with government support.
