Abstract
The objective of this study is to develop an NDUV type nitrogen oxide analyzer, which has a low interference to carbon dioxide and moisture, and to regulate the in-use diesel vehicle emission. The NDUV analyzer consists of a measuring cell, a light emitting part(ultraviolet lamp), a light receiving part, and a pre-treatment system. We have concluded that the developed analyzer can be used to measure the nitrogen oxide of the in-use diesel vehicle through a performance test and an on-road vehicle test. The development of measuring instruments through research has laid the foundation for the regulation of nitrogen oxide emission from the in-use diesel vehicle that was prepared by the Ministry of Environment.
