Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stepmill exercise on isokinetic strength and aerobic capacity in obese middle-aged women. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(isokinetic strength, aerobic capacity). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a=.05. The results were as follows: Isokinetic strength, there was significant difference according to the measurement, Aerobic capacity the results, there was significant difference according to the measurement. From the results, We findings suggest that obese middle-aged women could improve their isokinetic strength and aerobic capacity through stepmill exercise program.
