Abstract
We report measurements of the ratios of branching fractions for B-& iota; over bar Do ⠂ thorn & pi;e thorn & nu;e and B-& iota; over bar Do ⠂ thorn & pi; thorn & pi;-e thorn & nu;e relative to B-& iota; over bar D ⠂e thorn & nu;e decays with e 1/4 e, & mu;. These results are obtained from a data sample that contains 772 x 106BB over bar pairs collected near the ϒo4S thorn resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e thorn e- collider. Fully reconstructing both B mesons in the event, we obtain BoB0-& iota; over bar D0 & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB0-& iota;D ⠂-e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4 o7.23 ⠃ 0.36 ⠃ 0.14 thorn %, BoB thorn -& iota;D-& pi; thorn e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB thorn -& iota; over bar D ⠂0e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4 o6.78 ⠃ 0.24 ⠃ 0.18 thorn %, BoB0-& iota; over bar D ⠂0 & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB0-& iota;D ⠂-e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4 o11.10 ⠃0.48 ⠃0.23 thorn %, BoB thorn BoB thorn -& iota;-& iota;D ⠂- over bar D ⠂0 & pi; thorn e thorn e thorn & nu;e & nu;e thorn thorn 1/4 o9.50 ⠃0.33 ⠃0.34 thorn %, BoB0-& iota;D-& pi; thorn & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB0-& iota;D ⠂-e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4 o2.91 ⠃0.37 ⠃0.26 thorn %, BoB thorn -& iota; over bar D0 & pi; thorn & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB thorn -& iota; over bar D ⠂0e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4o3.10 ⠃0.26 ⠃0.22 thorn %, BoB0-& iota;D ⠂-& pi; thorn & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB0-& iota;D ⠂-e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4o0.99 ⠃0.43 ⠃ 0.20 thorn %, BoB thorn -& iota; over bar D ⠂0 & pi; thorn & pi;-e thorn & nu;e thorn BoB thorn -& iota; over bar D ⠂0e thorn & nu;e thorn 1/4 o1.25 ⠃ 0.27 ⠃ 0.15 thorn %, where the uncertainties are statistical and system-atic, respectively. These are the most precise measurements of these branching fraction ratios to date. The invariant mass spectra of the D & pi;, D ⠂& pi;, and D & pi;& pi; systems are studied, and the branching fraction products BoB0 & RARR; D ⠂-2 e thorn & nu;e thorn x BoD ⠂-2 & RARR; over bar D0 & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.157 ⠃ 0.015 ⠃ 0.005 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D ⠂0 0 e thorn & nu;e thorn x Bo over bar D ⠂0 0 & RARR;D-& pi; thorn thorn 1/4o0.054 ⠃0.022 ⠃0.005 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D ⠂0 2 e thorn & nu;e thorn xBo over bar D ⠂0 2 & RARR;D- & pi; thorn thorn 1/4 o0.163 ⠃0.011 ⠃ 0.008 thorn %, BoB0 & RARR; D-1e thorn & nu;e thorn x BoD-1 & RARR; over bar D ⠂0 & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.306 ⠃ 0.050 ⠃ 0.029 thorn %, BoB0 & RARR;D0-1e thorn & nu;e thorn x BoD0-1 & RARR; over bar D ⠂0 & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.206 ⠃0.068 ⠃0.025 thorn %, BoB0 & RARR; D ⠂-2 e thorn & nu;e thorn x BoD ⠂-2 & RARR; over bar D ⠂0 & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.051 ⠃0.040 ⠃ 0.010 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D01e thorn & nu;e thorn x Bo over bar D01 & RARR; D ⠂-& pi; thorn thorn 1/4 o0.249 ⠃ 0.023 ⠃ 0. 015 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D001e thorn & nu;e thorn x Bo over bar D001 & RARR; D ⠂- & pi; thorn thorn 1/4o0.138 ⠃0.036 ⠃0.009 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D ⠂02 e thorn & nu;e thorn x Bo over bar D ⠂02 & RARR; D ⠂-& pi; thorn thorn 1/4 o0.137 ⠃0.026 ⠃ 0.009 thorn %, BoB0 & RARR; D-1 e thorn & nu;e thorn x BoD-1 & RARR; D-& pi; thorn & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.102 ⠃ 0.013 ⠃ 0.009 thorn %, BoB thorn & RARR; over bar D01e thorn & nu;e thorn x Bo over bar D01 & RARR; over bar D0 & pi; thorn & pi;- thorn 1/4 o0.105 ⠃ 0.011 ⠃0.009 thorn %, are extracted. This is the first observation of the decays B & RARR; over bar D1e thorn & nu;e with D1 & RARR; D & pi; thorn & pi; -.
