- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of low-load high-repetition resistance exercise on lower strength and balancing ability in elderly women. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0)using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(lower strength, balancing ability). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a=.05. The results were as follows: Lower strength, there was significant difference according to the measurement, Balancing ability, there was significant difference according to the measurement. From the results, We findings suggest that elderly women could improve their lower strength and balancing ability through low-load high-repetition resistance exercise program.
