중학생의 여가만족 및 여가제약이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of self-efficacy on the relationship betweenleisure satisfaction/leisure constraint and smart-phone addiction in junior high school students. A survey wasconducted using a convenient sample drawn from 570 students from eleven junior high school in Seoul area. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 program. The results show that 4.7% and 17.7% of students were in thehigh and potential risk of smart-phone addiction. There was a significantly negative relationship betweenleisure satisfaction/self-efficacy, and smart-phone addiction. However, leisure constraint was positivelyrelated with smart-phone addiction. In addition, self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship betweenleisure satisfaction/leisure constraint and smart-phone addiction. These results suggest the risk ofsmart-phone addiction could be decreased through improving self-efficacy by increasing leisure satisfactionand reducing leisure constraint. Therefore, to reduce the risk of smart-phone addiction, we should supportstudents to join the active leisure program to enhance their self-efficacy.
