음악극 중심 유아음악교육의 수업의미 탐색: 예비유아교사를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 예비유아교사를 대상으로 한 음악극 중심 유아음악교육 수업의 의미를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구는 2013년 9월부터 12월까지 수행되었고, 연구참여자는 4년제 A대학교 유아교육학과 학생 43명이었다. 연구참여자를 대상으로 음악극 중심 유아음악교육 수업을 주1회 4시간 진행하였으며, 예비유아교사들의 저널, 연구자의 저널, 예비교사들의 연습장면과 공연장면을 비디오로 녹화하여 수집한 뒤 분석하였다. 연구결과, 예비유아교사들은 음악극 중심 유아음악교육 수업을 통해 ‘일상에서 음악의 즐거움을 발견’, ‘기악 위주 음악수업에 대한 부정적 정서를 탈피’, ‘다양한 음악경험을 통한 표현력 증진’, ‘갈등과 충돌을 벗어나 소통하는 공동체 경험‘, ‘음악교육에 대한 자신감을 형성’하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 예비유아교사를 대상으로 한 음악극 중심 유아음악교육이 의미있는 경험인 것으로 나타났다.

This study explores and analyzes the meaning of early childhood music education class focusing on musical drama for pre-service teachers. The data were collected for 4 months from September-December, 2013 Forty-three pre-service teachers/-college students in early childhood department were the participants of this study. The participants enrolled in music education class in the university and learned and experienced musical drama during the course curriculum. After a series of observation and journals during the class, the data were analyzed. As a result, pre-service teachers were able to a) enjoy music in daily life, b) overcome negative feelings about music, c) enhance expressiveness to various musical experiences, d) overcome conflict to experience communicated community, and e) raise self-competence in teaching music.
